Merry Christmas and a BrainSTRONG New Year! 🎄

 â€”

The holidays are here — a time to celebrate, reflect, and look forward with hope. For me, and for everyone involved with BrainSTRONG, it’s about more than decorations, gifts, and festive cheer. It’s about celebrating strength, resilience, and determination — even when it’s invisible.

Most people living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) face challenges that aren’t obvious. Their victories and perseverance often go unseen. That’s why BrainSTRONG exists: to shine a light on the invisible, raise awareness, and foster understanding. It’s about turning empathy into action and showing the world that resilience matters.

As we head into 2026, exciting things are on the horizon. Here’s a sneak peek:

  • I am BrainSTRONG: Our global initiative invites kids — and adults — to make a personal pledge to wear a helmet when biking. It’s about safety, yes, but also empowerment. By turning a “have to” into a “want to,” we’re helping people make choices that protect their brains for life.
  • Awareness Walk: We’re bringing back our community walk! It’s a chance to connect, share stories, and make invisible injuries visible. Every step shows support and spreads understanding in the community.

Every initiative is about making the invisible visible. Every story shared, every pledge made, every step taken in our walk moves us closer to a world where resilience is celebrated and ABI awareness grows.

This season, I want to thank everyone who’s been part of BrainSTRONG — whether you’ve supported an event, shared your story, or simply followed along. Your support helps turn awareness into action, and action into change.

So, as you enjoy the holidays, take a moment to notice strength in unexpected places — in yourself, your loved ones, and your community. Celebrate the victories, big and small. Reflect on resilience. And get ready, because the best is yet to come.

Wishing you peace, joy, and a BrainSTRONG start to 2026!
